Sync School Calendar
Did you know you could sync your calendar to the Student Portal? This will allow your regularly scheduled classes to magically appear on your personal calendar, as well as any scheduled special events and available makeup slots with your teacher.
To sync your device or personal computer:
- Login to the online Student Portal (if you don’t know your login, contact Karah at karahh@emscamas.com to be sent a password reset email).
- Go to the Calendar within the main menu (mobile) or on the left navigation bar (desktop)
- Select the magnifying glass (mobile) or the Sync Calendar button (desktop)
- Select your preferred calendar option and subscribe

Canceling + Rescheduling Classes
Did you know that you can cancel and reschedule your class on the Student Portal? This is how we manage ALL reschedules and makeups throughout the school. Remember that makeups are dependent upon teacher availability and cannot be guaranteed, so try to reserve your three reschedules for big events like vacations (excluding summer)!
To cancel a class
- Login to the online Student Portal (if you don’t know your login, contact Karah at karahh@emscamas.com to be sent a password reset email).
- Go to the Calendar within the main menu (mobile) or on the left navigation bar (desktop)
- Scroll to the appropriate week and find the specific class
- Click on the class and select “Cancel Attendance”
- If outside of 48 hours, you will automatically receive a credit to reschedule your class at a later date
- Look for an additional open class to reschedule and select “Register”
Elizabeth’s Music School Library Resources
Did you know that EMS has a large library of available music resources for our families? We have a very large library of classical piano repertoire, a school account with MuseScore Pro, as well as own band charts for lots of pop songs! Is your child looking for a famous classical piano piece? Or perhaps your child looking to sing the latest Taylor Swift phenomenon or hopes to shred on a Jimi Hendrix guitar solo? We can probably find it!
To request sheet music:
- Email your instructor at firstnamelastinitial@emscamas.com (i.e. karahh@emscamas.com)
- Visit the Online Resources menu on MMS for a large collection of available Syllabus piano repertoire
