Parent's Notes

Fall 2026 Classes | Fall classes begin the week of September 7 (YES, on Labor Day – it’s so late this year!).
– Login to the portal to make sure you have your time! 🙂
– Tuition rates have been updated!
– Reminder that a $50/student (or $80/family) annual events fee will also be added to September’s tuition.

Fall Open Enrollment | Fall open enrollment is currently OPEN and remaining slots are going FAST! Just reach out to the office (info@emscamas.com) if you don’t yet have your private lesson slot!

Introducing Mr. Dillon! | We are so thrilled to welcome Mr. Dillon to our guitar teaching team! He and Mr. Jake are excited to partner together with our rapidly growing guitar department. Mr. Dillon comes to us with 10 years of guitar teaching experience, just about to graduate with his Masters of Music Education, loves jazz and improvisatory music, and is thrilled to be joining our team of excellent music education! Mr. Dillon is currently enrolling students for Wednesdays.

Rescheduling Process | We have heard you and we’re listening! Most of you love your current slots, so we will no longer be doing entire school body reschedules in the summers! 🙂 If you need scheduling adjustments in the future, be sure to reach out to the office (info@emscamas.com) and we can help you find another solution.

Voice Syllabus | We are so please to officially be launching our new Voice Syllabus program through the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music! Students can now join the classical or musical theater tracks, participate in festivals, master classes, additional performance opportunities, and level up through this accredited, comprehensive, and international program. Be sure to chat with your voice teacher if you’re interested in joining our new Voice Syllabus program!

Music Production Lab | You spoke, we listened! Mr. Charles’ Music Production Summer Camp was a resounding success, so we’re going to keep the fun going! We will be introducing a small group class (4-6 students ONLY, ages 11-18) format this Fall. If your student is interested in music production, composition, arranging, audio recording, or collaborating with other students, email the office at info@emscamas.com to get more info or join our founding cohort!

New Database | We are 75% setup with our new database system, Jackrabbit! You will receive instructions on how to login to your new student portal and setup your payment information in the next week.

Guitars for Sale | Did you know that we have refurbished acoustic, electric, and bass guitars for sale? These guitars have all gone through quality control checks, have accompanying amps and gig bags, and are ready for your student! Prices are better than Guitar Center and Amazon! If you’d like to check out one of these guitars, check out the wall in our big lobby or connect with Mr. Jake and he’ll give you a personalized tour to make sure your student gets the right instrument!

My three sons have been taking piano lessons at EMS for the past six years, and it has been an incredible experience for our family. While EMS is an outstanding music school, the recitals and festivals have been especially valuable in helping them build confidence and develop their performance skills. Ms. Elizabeth is exceptionally kind and truly passionate about music education. Her enthusiasm, dedication, and joy for teaching piano are evident in every lesson, and her commitment to her students is unmatched. This program provides and excellent base for a child's musical development. I feel my kids understanding of music theory gained from Let's Play Music will allow them to pursue any instrument they desire in the future. She inspires the kids to be curious and to put in the work. As a lifelong musician myself, I wish I had something like this when I was younger.
