Ages 0-4: Sound Beginnings: The Great Outdoors

Elementary: Let’s Play Recorder, Drumline, Aloha Ukulele, and Guitarmageddon
Middle School: Drumline, Aloha Ukulele, Band Camp, Guitarmageddon, and Musical Theatre
High School: Drumline, Band Camp, and Musical Theatre

Private Lessons

Summer Private Lesson Schedule | The deadline for priority summer scheduling is TODAY! We will begin working on the summer schedule for July and August this coming week :) The Fall 2025 scheduling form will come out in early July. Summer lessons are a FUN and GREAT way to take advantage of your student having more time and energy to engage in their learning! Spring Recitals | Saturday, May 31st, Grace Church, Camas | Your students are working SO HARD for their upcoming Spring Recitals! Be sure to check the calendar on the studio database for confirmation on which show your child is in. There were some adjustments so that siblings and family units can all stay together in one show!

Let's Play Music/Sound Beginnings

Years 1 + 2 | Would your student appreciate some FUN LPM magic with their friends over the summer? Check in with Ms. Karah (karahh@emscamas.com) about this super FUN camp style opportunity! Spring Showcase | Saturday, June 14th, 2-3pm at the WA State School for the Blind | We have a very special Showcase event for our Year 1 and 2 students, LPM style! Save the date and invite your friends and family! Spring LPM Graduate Recital | Saturday, June 14th, 3:30pm at the WA State School for the Blind | A very special and unique piano recital, JUST for our LPM Year 3 graduates! Save the date!

Just for Fun

Books are just flying off the shelves! :) Congrats to Angela A (Ms. Elizabeth), who just successfully completed her Syllabus Level 7 exam! Welcome to Level 8! Angela will also begin her assistant teacher training program this summer. Very excited to welcome her to our amazing staff starting next Fall! And congrats to Suhana (Ms. Brienne), Lucy (Ms. Chunghah), and Gracie (Ms. Brienne), who completed Level 2A, Level 1, and the Primer level! Well done ladies! Mr. Jake's students are also learning SO MUCH. Well done Sarah, for passing the Debut Level! Did you know those crazy scales and technique studies that your students are working on actually pay off as they progress? :) Congrats to Hina (Ms. Chunghah) and Caleb (Ms. Brienne) for passing their Level 2 and Primer scales! Lastly, have you ever seen a Sound Beginnings (ages 0-4) class in action? These students and their grownups LOVE playing with the parachute! If you're interested, join us for a FREE sample class!

My three sons have been taking piano lessons at EMS for the past six years, and it has been an incredible experience for our family. While EMS is an outstanding music school, the recitals and festivals have been especially valuable in helping them build confidence and develop their performance skills. Ms. Elizabeth is exceptionally kind and truly passionate about music education. Her enthusiasm, dedication, and joy for teaching piano are evident in every lesson, and her commitment to her students is unmatched. This program provides and excellent base for a child's musical development. I feel my kids understanding of music theory gained from Let's Play Music will allow them to pursue any instrument they desire in the future. She inspires the kids to be curious and to put in the work. As a lifelong musician myself, I wish I had something like this when I was younger. Our youngest has taken piano lessons for two year and has learned a ton from her teacher (currently Ms. Jean).  Our son just started drum lessons from Mr. Charles a few months ago.
