Spring Recital | Yes, we’re already planning into our spring recital! 🙂 Save the Date! Saturday, May 31st at Grace Church in Camas, WA.

Private Lessons

Pop + Jazz Festival | Feb 1st at EMS, registration deadline Jan 17th, $25-40 depending on age bracket | Repertoire includes pop, rock, jazz, musical theatre, or even Faber method book songs! Students compete in a small format master class, all ages, all levels, all abilities! Students can compete as a solo act or in a band ensemble. We're bringing in Dr. Chuck Dillard from Portland State University to be our adjudicator - he is FANTASTIC!! Lower Division Syllabus Exams (Levels 1-6) | Mar 1-2nd at EMS, registration deadline Jan 31st | Exam season! :) Music Artistry Program | Mar 14-16th at EMS, registration deadline Jan 31st, $40 for a 20 minute one-on-one master class | One of my favorite events of the year! Informative, specific to your student, EXCELLENT coaching. Students perform two classical piano pieces from memory. Upper Division Syllabus Exams (Levels 7-10) | April 13th, registration deadline Mar 14th | Exam season! :) Romantic + 20th Century Festival | May 17-18th at Portland Piano Company, registration deadline Apr 25th, $25-40 depending on age bracket | Our final competition of the year! Students compete in a small format master class, one romantic or 20th century piece from memory.

Let's Play Music/Sound Beginnings

Sound Beginnings: Pink Piggies, Ages 0-4 | Our winter session is officially open for registration! Wednesdays at 9am and Fridays at 9:45am starting the first week of February! Get a friend to join you and get $50 off your tuition!

Let's Play Music Registration | Opens March 1st for Fall 2025 for Years 1, 2, and 3 | Be on the lookout for next year's registration links! Classes fill up fast! Spring Showcase | Sat, June 14th, 2-3pm | We have a very special Showcase event for our Year 1 and Year 2 students, LPM style! Save the Date! Spring Recital | Sat, June 14th, 3:30pm | And for our LPM Year 3 graduates, a very special and unique piano recital, just for you! :)

Just for Fun

Student Achievements | Even though we spent most of December performing in all our Christmas recitals, there were still some very fun achievements! Congratulations to Hina (Ms Chunghah's student) for completing her Level 2B books and Elise (Ms Brienne's student) for completing her Primer books! WOW!!

My three sons have been taking piano lessons at EMS for the past six years, and it has been an incredible experience for our family. While EMS is an outstanding music school, the recitals and festivals have been especially valuable in helping them build confidence and develop their performance skills. Ms. Elizabeth is exceptionally kind and truly passionate about music education. Her enthusiasm, dedication, and joy for teaching piano are evident in every lesson, and her commitment to her students is unmatched. This program provides and excellent base for a child's musical development. I feel my kids understanding of music theory gained from Let's Play Music will allow them to pursue any instrument they desire in the future. She inspires the kids to be curious and to put in the work. As a lifelong musician myself, I wish I had something like this when I was younger. Our youngest has taken piano lessons for two year and has learned a ton from her teacher (currently Ms. Jean).  Our son just started drum lessons from Mr. Charles a few months ago.
