Parent's Notes

Happy February! I hope you all are enjoying our uncharacteristic winter of sunshine! 🙂

EMS Expansion | We officially expanded into our new space this past weekend! There are extra signs with directions to your new suites. We also officially welcome Mr. Charles (drums, jazz piano, and music production), Ms. Gina (voice and choir), Mr. Jeff (classical piano), and Mr. Robert (guitar, bass, and ukulele) to our teaching team! We’re so thrilled to have you here!

Summer Camps 2026 | Registration is officially OPEN as of today! Register online HERE! Registration fees are WAIVED through February 28th!

Choir Launches This Week! | We are SO EXCITED to be officially launching a CHOIR program here at EMS! Ms Gina comes to our staff with a decade of choir directing experience of all ages and levels. She loves creating a community of excellence, FUN, and support! Check out more info HERE!
– Adult Choir (18+) | Mondays, 7-8:30pm
– Vox Youth Choir (Grades 8-12) | Thursdays 4:30-5:30pm
– Melody Makers Choir (Grades 4-7) | Tuesdays 4:30-5:30pm
– Tuition is FREE for the month of February! Just come try it out!
– Bring a friend and get another month for FREE!
– $60/month for one student or $50/month each for multiple students in the same family
– Spring Concert scheduled for June 6, 2026 with lots of FUN musical selections!!

Winter Break, Feb 16-20 | There are no classes during Camas’ Winter Break.

Let’s Play Music, Fall 2026 | Registration for NEXT FALL opens on March 1st! Mark your calendars to get your favorite class times!

Private Lessons

Music Artistry Program (Voice), Feb 28-Mar 1 | Meet with a master judge for a 30 minute private lesson and perform two songs of your choice (one can be musical theatre!). Registration Deadline is Jan 30.

Lower Division Spring Syllabus (Levels 1-6), Feb 28-Mar 1 | Let your hard work be recognized and pass those levels! :)

Music Artistry Program (Piano), Mar 7-8 | Meet with a master judge for a 30 minute private lesson and perform two songs of your choice (bonus, if you just did Syllabus or are preparing for Syllabus, then you already have two pieces!). Registration Deadline is Jan 23.

Let's Play Music/Sound Beginnings

My three sons have been taking piano lessons at EMS for the past six years, and it has been an incredible experience for our family. While EMS is an outstanding music school, the recitals and festivals have been especially valuable in helping them build confidence and develop their performance skills. Ms. Elizabeth is exceptionally kind and truly passionate about music education. Her enthusiasm, dedication, and joy for teaching piano are evident in every lesson, and her commitment to her students is unmatched. This program provides and excellent base for a child's musical development. I feel my kids understanding of music theory gained from Let's Play Music will allow them to pursue any instrument they desire in the future. She inspires the kids to be curious and to put in the work. As a lifelong musician myself, I wish I had something like this when I was younger. Our youngest has taken piano lessons for two year and has learned a ton from her teacher (currently Ms. Jean).  Our son just started drum lessons from Mr. Charles a few months ago.
